Ghost Town

The university is like a ghost town for the next couple of weeks. Our guys are back home enjoying some time off before returning for the first session of summer school, June 6. Our summer school program was been a a great thing for our program. It helps our guys get some hours toward their degree most importantly, but they also get the chance to be on campus and around their future teammates. Did you know that our men's basketball program has graduated 102 out of the last 103 seniors who played their final year eligibility for the Panthers? And NO D's don't get degrees here at Drury.

Like I have said before we are very excited to get our guys on campus. Believe it or not, players still want to play at Drury. The basketball program is still a powerhouse in the GLVC. Up until this year, the senior class won more games than any other senior class in the conference. Let's be perfectly honest, if Walter and Domo don't go down we win again and win big. Much was learned this season and we are anxiously awaiting the new year.

Cubs vs. Cards series
Joel Pinero, whatever, I am so sure, give me a break, game of your career. The Cards won the first game and we most move on to tonight's game. Hopefully the Cubbie pitchers do not give up any more 0-2 hits or home runs. Father Dudley, the deal is still on the table, pick who you want for Rasmus. You know the deal position player for position. You are not getting Big Z. Is the giant hole still located behind Busch Stadium? I can't wait to see that again. Face it St. Louis, your ballpark village, will never be Wrigleyville. I can hear it now, "1908" or "how is your goat doing Duds?" I get the jokes, hahaha, but please give it a rest already. The Cubs have taught me how to be resilient and patient. We will win, IT WILL HAPPEN!

Team Fedora update
Team Fedora is 1-1 after our win on Monday night. After building a big first half lead, we held on. Clutch free throws by Tim O'Reily and Tyler Rogers lead us to Buffalo Wild Wings for a celebratory get together. I have been fortunate to be picked up by some good guys. Thanks for the love fellas.
