summer school approaching

Summer school is just around the corner for our guys. The first session starts on June 8 and all of our guys will be enrolled. All the guys will be arriving back on campus Saturday or Sunday to get settled.

This past weekend in Columbia at the MBCA Missouri Challenge, the future of Drury basketball was on display. Alex Hall, Brandon Lockhart, and Derek Chaney represented the Panthers. The boys from Southwest Missouri upset Kansas City in the finals to win the inaugural event. Alex and Derek both had great weekends for the Fighting Bill Brown's. After missing the game on Friday, Cadillac played for a depleted STL squad that lost to Southwest in the semi's. The original STL team was loaded but took some hits with high school graduations. A great event that had some meaning for all the players involved.

Another future Panther, Courtney Ingram (Tulsa, OK) was named game MVP during one his recent All-Star games. Congrats to Courtney.

Comments
It has been brought to my attention that I have been asked to comment on a few things. I love this part of the blog. I welcome comments or suggestions.

1. What do I think of "Keeping Up with the Kardashian's?"
Bruce Jenner is great. A wise man to hunt that women down. Kimmy does it for me my friends, I mean come on. Much love to Kim. I have just placed an order for a Saints #5 jersey. That chick is amazing. I like them all to be honest. Great point by you Al Yanko, you have always been one of tremendous knowledge.

2. Other post regarding soccer.
You can tie? Unlucky! Never in my life do you hear that word other than soccer. Is that not the same as saying you just aren't good enough? I missed a shot, "Unlucky." I just throw the ball in the stands, "Unlucky." I just hit the tee before the golf ball, "Unlucky." What a story, Buddy. I apologize, if I was the coach it would have never happened.

Old School Hoops
Had a chance to play in a tourney this weekend in Athens. A great time was had by all. Good to see all the alumni from IC. I just have one question for you all to ponder, we all know a guy like this. The guy that keeps working hard at his game when his career is over. Why? If you have a chance to get paid to play go for it, but come on kids. You know the dude, the cat who couldn't score with a pencil, then you see him playing at the YMCA ten years later and he is good. I laugh at this guys all the time. The Old School Hoops tourney is full of these guys.

Finals Prediction
I am holding out till tomorrow. Let you ponder my prediction.

Joke of the Day - No offense ladies, Just a joke!
Why do women have smaller feet than men?..................................................................Allows them to get closer to the sink.

It was just a joke, EASY!

Bed
My wife just purchased a memory foam mattress pad. Great buy by the boss. I slept like an angel last night. I have a situation I need help with. The lady next door has a dog that barks all the time when she is not there. How should I handle this? I have told her about the deal and she just looks at me, like she can't believe it. I know honey your precious little dog does bark and it does not talk, it is not a HUMAN. Tell the damn thing to shut up. I have two dogs and they don't talk either. I just mgiht have to get Chief down here to handle this problem. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks for your concerns.

Congrats to Jay Lemons as he has been officially promoted from 8th grade to high school at a ceremony Monday night. Congrats young Jay

Shout out to Jason Warncke who was accepted to Mizzou Med School and also won the SLIAC Post Graduate Scholarship. And he also got his face fixed. The used a pic of me to help the guy out!
